How much money do nurses make a year?

These estimates are based on California salaries in February 2008

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - in excess of $100,000 per year.

Nurse Practitioners - $70-80k per year.

Regular staff nurses - $70k or more

Prison nurse - up to $85,000

Recent graduate nurses in California make between $40 to $46 per hour

Bachelor of Science - $25 per hour

ADN (Associate degree) - $24 per hour

Associate of Science in Nursing - $24/hr

RN - $24/hr

Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) - $11/hr

Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - $18/hr

Licensed Practical Nurs (LPN) - $18/hr
